• We were invited by Arch Aluminum & Glass of Tamarac, Florida, to create a campaign to launch their new Solar Command division, which included a solar mirror production line in Fort Pierce, Florida. Green Apple Group developed the content and produced multiple collateral pieces to announce the company’s entry into the Concentrator Photovoltaic industry. The campaign included a public relations campaign, print literature, and a Web site. The Arch Solar Command campaign has generated interest from solar power plant investors and OEM relationships from Southern California to Israel.

• IB Roof Systems, a manufacturer of “cool roof” membranes, in Eugene, Oregon, introduced thin-film photovoltaic material applied to their membranes for low-slope roofs. We developed several project profiles and distributed these public relations pieces in case study format to the solar and building industry trade media. These articles showed the benefits of the products from a life cycle perspective as well as several other sustainable benefits. IB Roof has seen a buzz surrounding this new product introduction that is expected to generate increased sales and profits even as the global economy recovers from the recession.

• SkyShades, a manufacturer of architectural fabric structures, in Longwood, Florida, had introduced an optional thin-film organic photovoltaic panel for its shade structures in a partnership with konarka. The LEED consulting team at Green Apple Group prepared a green building presentation for SkyShades franchisees and developed collateral showing the SkyShades’ SOLARBrella™ and electric car charging station potential point contributions to a LEED project. Green Apple Group’s Paul Nutcher gave the presentations to SkyShades franchisees during international sales meetings.
